Article 1 - Applicability

1.1 These are the general terms and conditions for the use of our website Keune.com, every offer from Keune on our website/web shop and every distance contract concluded between Keune and you, as a consumer. We advise you to read these terms and conditions carefully before using our website or placing an order in our web shop. Deviations from these conditions are only binding if Keune has agreed to this in writing. Of course, these general terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1.2 It is not permitted to use our website for unlawful purposes or in a way that is detrimental to Keune's interests. You must not use our website in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair our website, or interfere with others' use of our website.

1.3 Keune reserves the right to change these terms and conditions, and other provisions and notices on our website at any time. Any adjustments to these terms and conditions will of course not apply to orders that have already been placed.

1.4 These general terms and conditions apply to the use of the Keune.com website and to the sale of the products offered via this website. Keune is not liable for products offered/supplied by third parties on other websites.

Article 2 - The offer

2.1 We do our utmost to ensure that our web shop contains as complete and accurate a description of our products as possible. Because our products are regularly improved, the stated product information (such as, for example, the listed ingredients) may change from time to time. We therefore recommend that you always read the packaging or instructions before using the product. If you have any questions or comments, you can of course contact us.

2.2 If an offer has a limited validity or if special conditions apply, we will clearly state this in the offer.

2.3 We do our utmost to provide our offer with the correct (price) information. Unfortunately, we cannot exclude the possibility that we sometimes make a mistake or error. Mistakes or errors in the offer or the stated price, which can reasonably be recognized as such, are not binding on Keune.

Article 3 - Placing an order

3.1 You can order products on our website by selecting them and placing them in your shopping cart. By ticking the box for the general terms and conditions at the end of the ordering process, you agree to these general terms and conditions.

3.2 You are responsible for providing the correct personal and payment details. If you have provided incorrect or incomplete information, Keune will unfortunately not be able to process your order correctly or at all. So check your data carefully.

3.3 After confirming your details, you can select a delivery method. The delivery costs are displayed during the ordering process. You will then be forwarded to the payment process.

Article 4 - Privacy

4.1 Keune handles personal data with care and, when processing personal data, adheres to the privacy policy that can be consulted via the Privacy Statement on our website. Visitors to the website are deemed to have read and understood this Privacy Statement.

4.2 Links to external websites may be offered on Keune's website. Keune cannot be held liable for the use and content of external websites that are linked to or from Keune's website. Keune's Privacy Statement does not apply to any processing of personal data on or via such external websites.

Article 5 - Prices

5.1 The prices on our website are determined by Keune. We reserve the right to make price changes at any time. This price change does not apply to an order that you have already placed, with the exception of Keune Repeat orders. However, within the legal limits, we may make a price change after you have placed an order as a result of a change in VAT rates, statutory regulations or provisions.

5.2 The prices of the products include VAT.

5.3 The delivery costs of your order are clearly displayed during the ordering process before you complete the purchase.

Article 6 - Right of withdrawal

6.1 You can revoke an agreement regarding the purchase of a product during a cooling-off period of 14 days without giving reasons. Keune may ask you about the reason for the withdrawal, but you are not obliged to state your reason(s).

6.2 In some cases, no cooling-off period applies. This applies, among other things, to:

• Products made especially for you; and

• Sealed products that are not suitable to be returned for health or hygiene reasons and of which the seal has been broken after delivery.

If no cooling-off period applies, we will clearly state this in the offer.

6.3 The reflection period starts on the day after you have received your order. If we deliver your order in multiple shipments, the cooling-off period starts on the day after the last shipment has been received.

6.4 During the cooling-off period, you must handle the products and the packaging with care. The starting point here is that you may only handle and inspect the product as you would be allowed to do in a shop. You may not break any seal.

6.5 If you make use of your right of withdrawal, you must report this to Keune within 14 days of reflection. You can use the model form provided in annex 1 for this purpose. The return costs are for your own account. You return the product with all supplied accessories, if possible in its original condition and packaging, and in accordance with Keune's instructions. You return the products no later than 14 days after the cooling-off period.

6.6 As soon as Keune receives a notification of cancellation from you, we will send you a confirmation of receipt as soon as possible.

6.7 Keune will reimburse the purchase amount within 14 days after notification of your withdrawal, including any standard delivery costs charged by us for the returned product. We do have the right to withhold reimbursement until we have received the product or until you demonstrate that the product has been returned. The return shipping costs are at your own expense.

Article 7 – Warranty

If you are a consumer residing in the United Kingdom, Article 7 is replaced by the following:

7.1 Keune products meet high quality standards. As a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This means that, upon delivery, the product must meet the following legal requirements:

  • satisfactory quality;

  • fit for purpose;

  • as described, including compliance with the product’s description, packaging, and marketing.

7.2You are entitled to repair, replacement, or a refund if the product at the time of delivery:

  • is damaged, contaminated, or defective;

  • spoils within its shelf life, provided it has been properly stored and remains unopened.

If the defect is reported within 30 days of receipt, you are entitled to a full refund. If the defect is reported after this period, you are initially entitled to repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is not possible, or cannot be carried out within a reasonable timeframe, you are entitled to a (partial) refund.

7.3 You are not entitled to repair, replacement, or a refund if:

  • the defect is (partly) the result of normal wear and tear, improper use, improper handling, storage, or maintenance of the products;

  • Keune has not been given the opportunity to investigate the complaint and fulfil its obligations;

  • you have not, not in time, or not properly fulfilled the obligations that rest with you;

  • the defect arose after delivery due to circumstances beyond Keune’s control.

Article 8 - Delivery and execution

8.1 The place of delivery is the address that you have made known to us.

8.2 If delivery is delayed, or if the order cannot or only partially be delivered, you will be notified of this no later than 30 days after you have placed the order. In that case you have the right to dissolve the agreement without costs. In that case, the purchase amount paid by you will of course be refunded immediately.

Article 9 - Payment

9.1 As part of the ordering process, you select your desired payment method, as offered in the webshop. You are entitled to choose from at least the following payment options: Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. After the payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation of your order via e-mail. This means that the order is final and an agreement has been concluded between you and Keune.

Article 10 – Terms Keune Repeat Subscription

10.1 Subscription

10.1.1 Keune Repeat is a subscription service through which you receive Keune products on a regular basis at a pre-selected frequency and at a discounted price compared to the standard rate.

10.1.2 The subscription is established when Keune confirms your subscription order. The subscription agreement is entered into for an indefinite period.

10.1.3 Keune Repeat applies to almost all Keune products, except for travel sizes, dispensers, and brushes.

10.2 Order Process and Payment

The subscription amount will be automatically charged at the time of each delivery via the payment method you selected, as described in Article 9.1.

Your account on the website will display the scheduled delivery time of your upcoming order. Prior to each scheduled delivery, you will receive an email notification informing you that your order is being prepared for shipment.

After receiving this notification, you have until no later than 24 hours before shipment to: a. temporarily pause your subscription; b. add or remove products from your upcoming delivery; or c. adjust the delivery frequency or delivery date. These changes can easily be made via your personal account page.

If you do not make any changes, the order will be processed as scheduled and the payment will be collected as usual.

10.3 Cancellation and Termination You may cancel the subscription at any time free of charge via your account on the website. Cancellations must be submitted no later than 24 hours before the next scheduled delivery. Keune reserves the right to suspend or terminate the subscription in the event of force majeure, non-payment, or misuse.

10.4 Right of Withdrawal The statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days applies to the first delivery under the Keune Repeat subscription, as set out in Article 6 of these general terms and conditions. Subsequent deliveries under the ongoing subscription relationship may be cancelled in accordance with paragraph 3 of this article.

10.5 Price Adjustments Keune reserves the right to adjust prices during the term of the subscription. Any price changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

10.6 Product Unavailability If a product is temporarily unavailable, you will be informed in a timely manner. In such cases, you have the option to modify or temporarily suspend your subscription. Keune reserves the right to discontinue products or change their composition. If this occurs, you will be notified in advance.

10.7 Miscellaneous The other provisions of the general terms and conditions apply to the Keune Repeat subscription, unless explicitly stated otherwise in Article 10. In the event of a conflict between Article 10 and any other provision in the general terms and conditions, the provisions of Article 10 shall prevail.

Article 11- Complaints and disputes

11.1 If you have any complaints, we ask you to submit them to Keune as soon as possible, fully and clearly described, via CustomerServiceUK@keune.com.

11.2 Keune will give you an answer within 14 days from the date of receipt. If the complaint needs a longer processing time, we will let you know within 14 days. We will also tell you when you can expect our answer.

11.3 The legislation that applies in the country where you, as a consumer, are established, applies to these terms and conditions. Of course we hope to be able to handle any complaint properly with each other so that legal proceedings are not necessary. However, you always have the right to bring legal proceedings with regard to our products in the court of the country where you are located.

11.4 If we are unable to reach a resolution together, you, as a consumer residing within the European Union, may request free assistance from the European Consumer Centre (ECC) in your country. The ECC provides free legal advice and can mediate in cross-border consumer disputes within the EU, Iceland, and Norway.

The ECC can: • inform you about your rights as a consumer; • assist you in resolving a dispute with a foreign seller; • contact the company on your behalf to help reach an amicable solution.

11.1 Images, logos and texts on the Keune website are protected by copyright. Unless stated otherwise, nothing from this website may be reproduced, distributed or used without written permission from Keune.
