Really anyone can create a fun summer hairstyle by simply tying a scarf in their hair. All you need for nice summer updos is a square scarf. For a perfect finish, you should use good styling products of course. We show you our three favorite ways to tie a scarf in your hair for a fun summer hairstyle. 

Summer look #1 - Summer Twist

This is how you create this cool Summer Twist:
  1. Fold the scarf from point to point in a triangle

  2. Fold or roll up the scarf into an oblong shape

  3. Let your hair hang loose and fold the scarf around the back of your head forward. Tie the scarf on your forehead.

  4. Take the two loose ends and tuck them under the scarf

  5. Pull the knot of the scarf slightly apart and place the scarf on your hairline

Summer look #2 - Wrapped bun

This is how you create the Wrapped Bun look:
  1. Fold the scarf from point to point into a triangle and roll the scarf up into an elongated shape

  2. Make a high ponytail in your own hair

  3. Make the ponytail into a bun by putting the hair through your hair tie once in the front

  4. Fold the scarf around the back of your head and tie it with a double knot on your rehead. Pull the knot open a bit

  5. Take the two loose ends of the scarf and tuck them under the part of the scarf tied around your head. Place the scarf in the middle of your head for the bun.

Summer look #3 - Beachy Bandana

Here's how to create the hip Beachy Bandana look: 
  1. Fold the scarf into a triangle

  2. Lay the scarf with the long side over your head halfway up your forehead

  3. Grab the two points of the scarf and bring them back

  4. Make a firm knot with the two points in your hand. Make sure the middle point of the scarf stays under the knot. And voilá!
